Little Benny Gives up on Drinking and Smoking

After Little Benny made up his mind to give up drinking and smoking, some color began to come into his life in the strips and frames that he lived in. His cigar was a monster in his bad dreams because he smoked so much. Little Benny loved smoking cigars more than he loved drinking. So the cigar was his biggest nightmare. Well, Little Benny’s cigar left his dreams because he quit smoking. When his drinking and smoking stopped, he began to think better, and his dreams became good dreams. His sixth sense grew stronger.

Old Man Crucified

Little Benny did not want to smoke cigars anymore because he knew it was harmful to his body. He gave his heart to the Lord and became a Christian. Little Benny did not quit smoking over night. With the help of the Lord, he stopped smoking. Little Benny was no longer enslaved to sin and cigars. His old sinful self was crucified with Christ.

Tired of Being Controlled

Little Benny was tired of being controlled by his cigar. He wanted to quit, but his addiction would not let him quit. He could spiritually see in his mind that the cigar was making fun of him. Spiritually, Benny's cigar was human to his mind. He thought, "I have smoked too many of them." Little Benny smoked about 3 cigars a day. He smoked one in the morning, one in the afternoon, and one at night. Little Benny tried to smoke 2 a day.

Little Benny Getting Tired of the Beer

Little Benny one day decided that he did not want to drink anymore. As he woke up after a long nap, he saw his empty beer bottle broken to pieces on the floor. Benny looked into the mirror again and saw that he was getting a beer gut, and he was starting not to be as popular as he was with the women. He was starting to gain weight. Benny said, "I'm tired of this." He was willing to stop drinking. However, he still was not ready to let go of his cigar. His heart wanted to, but he was already addicted. Somehow, he was willing to let go of the beer. It was not an addiction like his cigar, and he did not drink but every now and then. He loved his cigar most.

Cigar and Beer Controlling the Mind

Sometimes Little Benny would have a bottle of beer with his cigar. The beer made him do things that he would not normally do. It was affecting his brain and the Cigar was affecting his brain. The little fairy demons danced around his head and mocked him.

The Conscious of Benny

Little Benny loved to drink and smoke cigars. He loved smoking more than anything. Benny’s good conscious always warned him that he had better slow down and start thinking about his health. Little Benny lived in a world of black and white strips and frames. His world was unreal. Benny believed that nothing could happen to him and that belief was unreal. Little Benny did not worry about lung cancer as he played with the smoke of his cigar. He would smoke and make giant puffs of smoke in the air. Little did Benny know that there was a demon in the smoke of his cigar planning to destroy his health.

The smoke demon got into his conscious and said, “Yea, go ahead Benny. Enjoy your smoking. It will always help you to relax."

Benny knew that the smoke demon was lying, but he tried to look at the lie as the truth. Walking pass his mirror, Little Benny saw the wrinkles under his eyes and his teeth slowly turned yellow. He hung his head and took the big cigar out of his mouth. Little Benny thought, “I love my cigar. The smell of the smoke smells like fresh cherries.” Little Benny decided to lay his cigar down into his ashtray for a little while. He sat down in his chair and thought, “ I cannot let my cigar go.”

Like all of us, whether we know it or not, Benny was surrounded by a strong spirit world. There was good spirit around him, and there was bad. There was good and bad on the inside of him too. It seemed that he was very weak when it came to choosing the good side because he loved things that were not good for him. The bad spirit was able to control him whenever he was weak.

An Introduction

How many times must I tell the story of Little Benny and his cigar. There are many stories, and it seems there is no end. How many times will you hear the words " don't smoke" before people will stop smoking. It's never ending too. Smoking is a destructive end, and it can lead to cancer. Then there are some that grow old smoking, and it doesn't seem to bother them. It's not for everyone.
There are friends that I know of that smoke cigarettes. Only one of them have died so far from cancer. I thank God for his mercy, and for keeping the rest of them alive. The rest of them have tried so hard to stop smoking. It seems that worry and stress always make them go back. That's another part of destruction and the Devil's plan. He wants to keep you down. If smoking doesn't kill you, worry and stress will. They can work together hand in hand. Smoking, worry, and stress is all about destroying you and your body. The devil works through these things.
Cigar is like the devil in Little Benny's life. He just likes to fog up his world with smoke. Little Benny won one battle by giving up cigar smoking, but the devil remained. Little Benny had to fight even harder. He never gave up. Little Benny will not let the devil get the best of him. So when you are fighting to stop smoking, remember Little Benny.
